Adidas Battle Pack was shot during the build-up to the 2014 World Cup, set in Brazil. Due to needing shots with star players, we travelled all over Europe to meet them.
You will notice that we went for very dynamic imagery in the poses. We shot from a lower angle to make the limbs of the player look longer and more distorted, as a result, the dynamic imagery was achieved. This gave the feeling that the viewer was almost part of the action.
I asked most of the players to jump onto a crash mat for this one. Imagining that the ball was right in front of the camera.
