Team Messi

Messi was an honour to work with, in Fast or Fail. He is, without doubt, one of the all-time great players.

For this campaign, we wanted to highlight his explosive pace and grace with the ball. As such, we had a long space in the studio for Messi to run, as well as one or two obstacles for him to avoid.

We tend to speak more with the ‘language of football’. Messi seems to prefer demos rather than too much explanation, which suits me (although I do have to demo for him with my left foot!)

The graphics are a big part of the impact of the commercial. However, without the man himself showing what he can do, it wouldn’t be the same.
